A disturbance an its associated weak cold front will move through the region today bringing some minor chances for rain.

The first chance will be early this morning as some light, scattered showers move through. These are unlikely to have any thunder and should only be in the area for a brief time.

Most of the rest of the day will be quiet with a mix of sun and clouds. Late in the afternoon, a second chance for a few scattered showers or storms will be possible.

There will likely be a few places that do not see rain from either event and some others that see rain both times.

Winds today will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. Top gusts will be near 20 mph.

Temperatures will top out in the mid 70s this afternoon and will drop into the 60s this evening and 50s overnight.

A stray shower may linger into the evening hours before dissipating. Skies will be rather cloudy through the overnight.
