The Cortland County Health Department has confirmed one location of potential exposure to a positive COVID-19 employee at the location listed. This employee was wearing a mask during their shift. Members of the public who shopped at the following business on the day and time listed may have been exposed;
Dunkin Donuts, 162 Tompkins Street, Cortland, NY
- Monday, September 7: 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Anyone who may have been exposed at the location listed should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 such as: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/ or diarrhea for 14 days after their potential exposure (through September 22, 2020). If symptoms do develop, stay home and call your doctor for further guidance about testing. If you are elderly, have underlying medical conditions, or are immunocompromised, call your doctor early even if your illness is mild. In an emergency call 911.
It is important that residents remain diligent and continue to do their part to limit the spread of COVID-19. Please continue to protect yourself and others by wearing a face covering when you are out in public, maintain social distancing, wash your hands and stay home when ill.
