Press release from the Cortland City Police Department
On 09/15/2020 at about 12 PM, City police arrested Caden L. Ross (19) of 11 1/2 Hyatt Street, Cortland.
Ross' arrest came following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of 19 year old woman the previous evening. Ross was located at his residence and transported to CPD for questioning. Following that questioning, Ross was formally charged. That incident was reported to have occurred at 10 Church Street (EconoLodge) in the Cortland.
Ross was charged with;
- Sexual Abuse in the First Degree (130.65 sub 2)
Ross was arraigned and remanded to the CCJ in lieu of $1000.00 cash bond. Ross is scheduled to appear again in City Court on 09/18/2020 at 3:30 PM.
