High pressure has relocated to the Tennessee Valley, opening our area up to a warm flow of air from the west.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds through the morning as some of the warmer air pushes in. The cloud should move out this afternoon, leaving sunny skies to end the day.

The wildfire smoke that hazed our skies yesterday will be gone as well. Precipitation will not fall today.

Winds will be from the west and northwest at 10-15 mph. Top gusts on the day could approach 30 mph.

High temperatures will make it back to about 70 degrees this afternoon. Temperatures tonight will drop back into the 50s under mostly clear skies.
