Central New York will be in the edge of influence from the remains of Hurricane Delta today.

Clouds will be thick throughout the day, though a glimpse of sunshine here and there cannot be totally ruled out.

Rain will try to move north into the region, but without much success. A few showers may spit some rain from time to time, but not everything that shows on radar will even reach the ground.

The clouds and showers will keep temperatures from getting very warm with highs in the mid 50s.

Winds today will be from the southeast at around 10 mph. Top gusts will be near 25 mph.

There will be little change in the weather tonight with clouds and stray showers continuing. Temperatures will drop back to around 50 degrees.
