A front will pass through the region this morning with high pressure building in behind it for the afternoon.

Clouds will be commonplace through the morning hours. Most of the rain will concentrate along the front which will arrive in the late morning.

The rain will generally be light and can be expected to last for an hour or two. Rain amounts should be between one and two tenths of an inch.

Winds ahead of the front will be from the southeast around 10 mph. Once the front moves through, winds will turn to the northwest around 5 mph. Top gusts on the day will be around 20 mph.

Skies will turn sunny through the afternoon with clear skies expected before sunset. Clear skies will then continue into the evening and overnight.

High temperatures today will be in the mid to perhaps upper 50s. Evening temperatures will quickly drop into the mid and low 40s but should not get much colder as winds turn to the southwest overnight.

Saturday: Wind and chilly. Clouds early, then some sun. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.
