An early morning cold front will set up a chilly, cloudy day.

After a mild overnight, the front moving through early this morning will send temperatures dropping 10-15 degrees in just one to two hours.

Accompanying the front will be some scattered rain showers. The rain showers will end by the mid to late morning hours. The rest of the day will be dry.

Thick clouds will remain in place through the daytime hours and will only gradually break up tonight.

Northwest winds behind the front will blow steadily at around 10 mph. Top gusts on the day should be near 25 mph.

The clouds and winds will hold temperatures steady most of the day. Temperatures will be in the mid to perhaps upper 40s before dropping into the low 40s this evening.

Areas of frost may develop overnight if enough clearing takes hold, allowing temperatures to fall into the 30s.
