A weak frontal boundary will sit over our region today, keeping skies grey and conditions showery.

None of the rain today will be overly heavy, but on and off showers and periods of light rain can be expected throughout the day. There will be breaks in the rain, but skies will remain cloudy with mist and drizzle possible.

Winds will be from the southeast this morning before turning to the south around midday. Wind speeds will be between 5-10 mph with gusts to 20 mph.

The wind will help temperatures where the clouds and showers will not, resulting int highs near or just above 50 degrees.

The clouds and occasional showers will continue into the night as temperatures drop back into the 40s. Winds will turn to the northwest as the front slides through the area.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with an occasion shower or some drizzle, especially in the morning. Morning lows near 40. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Thursday: Rain possible. Morning lows near 40. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Friday: An early morning shower, possibly mixing with some snow. Then turning sunny. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs only near 40.
