Your Cortland County weather forecast for Tuesday, October 27, 2020:

Our region will remain cloudy and unsettled today as a wave of energy moves along a nearby, stalled out front.

Clouds will be thick much of the day, but rain will be less common than yesterday. While a shower may be possible this morning, the best chance for rain will come in the latter half of the afternoon and into the evening.

The rain that falls tonight will be light, similar in intensity to yesterday’s drizzly showers.

Yesterday, we were on the warm side of the front, but today, we will be on the cool side.

Winds will be from the west-northwest at 5-10 mph. With the clouds, the wind will hold temperatures to the mid 40s. Tonight, temperatures will back off to around 40 degrees.

Wednesday: Early clouds with afternoon sun. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs near 50.

Thursday: Cloudy with afternoon rain becoming steady and heavy. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Friday: Snow possible, especially early in the day. Some accumulation possible. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows near 20. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.
