Your Cortland County weather forecast for Friday, October 30, 2020:

As low pressure pulls away this morning, snow will come to an end and a cloudy, chilly day will remain.

Snow showers will taper off by the mid-morning hours. Little to no additional accumulation is expected. Any roads that are sloppy early on will improve as temperatures push through the 30s.

By the afternoon, upper 30s are likely under mostly cloudy skies. A few glimpses of sun will be possible, but they will be few. No additional precipitation is expected, though.

Winds will be from the north-northwest at 10-15 mph. Gusts have a shot at hitting 30 mph, mostly in the early afternoon.

The clouds will break up gradually tonight. Temperatures will drop through the 30s and should end up in the 20s by dawn Saturday.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs near 40.

Sunday: A little early sun, then increasing clouds and some late showers. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Monday: Windy and cloudy with flurries and a few squalls. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Tuesday: Flurries early, then some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.
