High pressure will bring more quiet, mild weather to the region for today and beyond.

A batch of thin clouds will work in today, but the sun should still shine through the clouds. No rain will fall from these clouds, which will be high up in the atmosphere.

South and southwest winds will blow steadily at 5-10 mph throughout the day. Peak gusts should get over 20 mph, but will not be more than 25 mph.

The sunshine and south winds on the heels of yesterday’s mild weather should add up to highs in the low and mid 60s this afternoon.

Clouds will linger for most of the night before clearing out late. Southwest winds will also persist through the night.

Evening temperatures will fall to around 50 degrees, then fall a couple more degrees overnight.

Monday: Partly cloudy. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs near 70.
