Cortlandville Fire Department responds to tractor trailer accident

At 3:34 am. this morning (11/13/2020), the Cortlandville Fire Department was called to Rte.81 south bound in the area of the 44 mile marker for a report of a tractor-trailer on its side. On arrival the driver of the truck was self extracted with no complaints of injuries. The truck was hauling nearly 40 cows, all of which stayed contained in the trailer.

The driver of the truck was evaluated by MAVAC Ambulance. The driving lane was closed for approximately 2 hours while the truck was removed by Ron's Towing. Cortlandville fire personal were clear of the scene by 5:11 am.
