An area of high pressure over the Mid-Atlantic has turned our winds to the south and will bring temperatures back to near average today.
Skies will be filled with a layer of clouds in the upper atmosphere. These clouds will filter the sunshine throughout the day. However, no precipitation is expected.
The wind will be on the blustery side with speeds of 10-15 mph and gusts reaching 30 mph at times.
The cold air will be slow to erode away, but highs should reach the mid 40s.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy this evening and the south wind will continue to be blustery. These factors should keep nighttime temperatures from falling further than the upper 30s.
