Warmer air will continue to move into the region today ahead of a subtle cold front tonight.

Skies will be mixed throughout the day with a variety of cloud types in different layers of the atmosphere. The late morning and first half of the afternoon have the best chance at being fairly sunny before clouds thicken late.

No precipitation is expected during the daytime hours, but a stray shower cannot be totally ruled out tonight.

Winds will be from the southwest today at around 10 mph. Top gusts will be near or just over 20 mph.

High temperatures should make it into the mid 50s this afternoon. Evening temperatures will drop into the 40s and remain there most of the night.

Winds will turn to the northwest after midnight as the front clears the area.
