An initial warm front moved through the area last night and a second will arrive late today.

Blustery south winds will gust to near 30 mph early this morning but will decrease in speed. By the afternoon, gusts will only be around 20 mph.

Clouds will remain thick most of the day. If the sun does manage to break through at all, it will likely do so later this morning or early in the afternoon.

Rain showers will push into the region late this afternoon and continue into the evening. None of the rain should be too heavy, but it may come down steadily for a time.

Daytime highs will rise into the low to mid 40s. Evening temperatures will retreat to near 40 degrees, but will rise back into the 40s overnight.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with on and off rain showers, especially early. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with some light rain showers or drizzle. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs near 50.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Maybe a rain shower early. Some late sun possible. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Sunday: Sunny most of the day, but some clouds move in late. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.
