Low pressure will slowly pull away today, but snow showers will continue to fly, enhanced by Lake Ontario.

Snow will fall through the morning and well into the afternoon. The best chance for some heavier bursts will be before noon. Snow accumulations of a couple inches will be possible, especially over higher terrain in the northern half of the county.

Clouds will likely remain in place until the sun sets, but will move out early in the evening, leaving clear skies behind.

Blustery west-northwest winds will blow at 10-15 mph. Top gusts will be near or just above 30 mph.

Temperatures today will top out in the low 30s. A steady drop into the mid 20s is expected this evening. Winds will turn to the southwest after midnight, hold temperatures overnight steady.
