Temperatures will gradually fall today thanks to an early morning cold front, but precipitation will not be a major issue.

The best chance for precipitation will be near and just after dawn as the cold front moves through. Some scattered showers will be possible, but none of the rain should be heavy or particularly long lasting.

The rest of the day will be cloudy with nothing more than a spit of rain here or a brief flurry there. This pattern will persist into the evening and overnight.

Temperatures will be at their warmest in the early and mid morning hours, when mid 40s are likely. A slow fall through the 40s will take place in the late morning and early afternoon with upper and mid 30s taking hold through the rest of the afternoon.

Tonight’s temperatures will settle around 30 degrees.

Southwest winds this morning will turn to the west for most of the day. Winds tonight will become northwesterly. Wind speeds will be around 10 mph while the sun is up, and closer to 5 mph when the sun sets. Top gusts will be 25-30 mph.
