Today’s weather will be quiet despite thickening clouds ahead of an approaching disturbance.

Thin clouds first began streaming in overnight and will thicken up as the morning goes on. The amount of sunlight able to filter through the clouds will diminish, leaving us with a grey, drab afternoon.

No precipitation is expected today or even this evening, though. The first flurries should not arrive until nearly sunrise Sunday.

South winds near 5 mph will blow throughout the day, increasing slightly this evening.

High temperatures will reach the mid 20s thanks to those winds. Temperatures will then remain steady this evening and through the overnight.
