Emergency crews respond to 30 accidents on I-81 from Homer to Tully

State troopers, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office are responding to 30 accidents on Interstate 81 this afternoon between Exit 12 in Homer and Exit 14 in Tully, according to state police. Only minor injuries were reported despite the numerous accidents, according to Trooper Aga Dembinska. The interstate reopened about 4:30 p.m., according to a State Police statement on Twitter. Officers closed the road shortly after 2 p.m., according to state police.
