A push of warm air will bring temperatures up to their highest levels so far in 2021 today.

An increasing south wind out ahead of a cold front will be the driver of the warm air. Ample sunshine will also help temperatures rise.

By the afternoon, highs should be in the mid and upper 40s.

There will be occasional clouds to mix with the sunshine, and later in the afternoon, a few scattered rain showers will be possible.

Morning winds speeds will be 5-10 mph, with afternoon winds of 10-15 mph and evening winds near 15 mph. The wind will turn to the west-northwest this evening following the passage of the cold front.

Wind gusts this afternoon will reach around 30 mph, but tonight, gusts to 40 mph will be possible.

Temperatures will fall into the 30s tonight, changing any lingering rain showers back to snow with little to no accumulation.
