High pressure will control the weather for most of the day, but a late front will slide in, too.

Sunshine will be plentiful this morning and possibly into the afternoon. Gradually, some clouds will move in from the north. By the late afternoon, skies may be more cloudy than not.

Precipitation chances will be greatest after sunset. Most of what falls will be light snow, but a little rain could mix in if any precipitation moves in early.

Snow showers will continue through the evening with just a few lake flurries overnight. Accumulations should be on the order of an inch or less.

Winds will be from the south early, but will turn to the west, then northwest over the course of the day. Wind speeds will be 5-10 mph with gusts of 20-30 mph.

Temperatures will get a small boost from the early sun and southwest winds, reaching a high in the low 40s. A drop through the 30s is expected this evening with 20s overnight.
