After a quiet daytime, snow showers will move back into the region tonight ahead of another small cold front.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds today with no precipitation expected during the daytime hours. The clouds will thicken up late in the afternoon ahead of the cold front.

Snow will increase through the evening and continue through the overnight. An inch or two may accumulate by Saturday morning.

Winds today will be stronger than yesterday, but not as strong as they were Monday night. Coming from the northwest, wind speeds will clock in at around 15 mph with top gusts around 40 mph.

The wind will help hold temperatures in check despite the sunshine. Look for highs in the mid to perhaps upper 20s. Evening and overnight temperatures will dip into the teens.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.
