McGraw Girls Volleyball Loses Tough Battle to DeRuyter on Senior Night

The McGraw Varsity Girls Volleyball team  lost in 3 sets Thursday to the DeRuyter Rockets on McGraw’s Senior Night.

McGraw lost the first set by just 4 points, and then the second set by 14. The Eagles did not make it easy for DeRuyter, as they gave the Rockets a fight in the third and final set of the game. Even though McGraw showed resilience, the Rockets were able to hold on to win the set, 23-25.

Jaiden Cortez led the Eagles in digs with 4 digs on the night. Abbey Augur had 2 kills and 3 digs.
