Cortland boys take the win vs. Cazenovia at home

 

The Cortland Purple Tigers defeated Cazenovia 58-47 Monday night to start off their final week of the shortened season. 

The Tigers started the game off well, outscoring Cazenovia 22-16 in the opening quarter. Cortland had a 31-28 lead going into halftime. 

Cortland’s defense went on to hold Cazenovia to 19 points in the second half to take the home win.

The Tigers were led by Noah Armstrong and Max Gambitta with 15 points a piece on the night. Following Armstrong and Gambitta was Tyler Blake with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Cazenovia’s Alex Moesch led all scorers with 28 points on the night. Patrick Linck scored 8 points and Brody Coleman scored 5 points.
