High pressure will build in today leading to sunshine and mild temperatures.

Some lingering clouds from a weak impulse of energy last night may linger for a time this morning. As dry air works in, these clouds should become fewer and fewer.

Much of the day will have ample sunshine which will help temperatures climb. The northern half of the county should have highs in the low 40s, while the southern half reaches the mid 40s.

Light winds will come from the northwest and north with speeds around 5 mph. Gusts will be around 20 mph.

The wind will switch around to the southeast overnight after a brief calm period. Wind speeds of 5-10 mph can be expected.

These winds will hold overnight temperatures in the low and mid 20s after a quick drop this evening. Skies will be mostly clear through the overnight.

Wednesday: Morning sunshine with thin overcast for the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Thursday: A mix of sun and clouds. A few scattered showers, especially late. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Friday: A few morning showers. Then a mix of sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Saturday: Some early clouds and maybe a flurry. Then turning sunny. Morning lows in the low 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.
