Your Cortland County weather forecast for Sunday, March 21, 2021:

Another sun-filled day is ahead as temperatures continue to rise.

Clouds will once more be hard to come by today with start to finish sunshine courtesy of high pressure.

With the center of the high shifting to the east, winds will turn to the south today. What wind there is will be light, coming in at around 5 mph.

Still, when combined with the sunshine, the wind will help us gain a few more degrees today than we did yesterday. Look for afternoon highs around 60 degrees.

Clear skies will persist tonight. Winds will actually increase to 5-10 mph as they turn to the southeast. Temperatures will hold in the 30s most of the night as a result. A slip into the upper 20s will be possible by sunrise Monday.

Monday: Sunny. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs near 60.

Tuesday: Sunny with some late clouds. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy. Small chance for a stray shower. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Thursday: Partly cloudy. Small chance for a stray shower early. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
