Marathon Varsity Boys Soccer vs Groton
The Marathon Olympians Boy's soccer team defeated Groton 7-0 on the road Monday afternoon.
The Olympians had a great start, scoring five goals in the first half and two in the second. Groton was left scoreless in the game.
Kaiden Cornell, Braeden Morrison, Sam Castellot, Joe Hulbert, and Bryce Howe all scored for the Olympians.
The Olympians had a total of 23 shots and 10 corner kicks, while Groton had 2 shots and 1 corner kick.
Marathon goalkeeper Trent Ensign saw little action with 1 save throughout the entirety of the game, while Groton’s Lucas Darling had 15 saves.

McGraw Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Dryden
The McGraw Golden Eagles suffered a tough 0-4 loss on the road at Dryden.
Dryden started things off with Alex Brotherton scoring their first two goals of the game in the first ha Allison Deeley would then make it 0-3 before the end of the half.
Dryden’s Nicole Morrow scored the only second half goal to put the game away.
The Eagles ended the game with only 1 shot and 1 corner kick; compared to the 20 shots and four corner kicks Dryden had.
McGraw’s goalkeeper Jaiden Cortez ended the game with 14 saves.
