A warm front will lift into the region today, bringing some rain showers.

The chances for rain will increase through the morning and persist through the afternoon. The rain will be steady at some times, and spotty at other times.

All in all, rain amounts will be low with under a quarter inch falling.

Clouds will remain in place even when it is not raining and will linger into the evening hours. Some partial clearing will take place during the nighttime.

Winds will be from the southeast at around 10 mph. Top daytime gusts will be 20-25 mph. The wind will shift to the south this evening and into the southwest by dawn Thursday.

The rain and clouds will hold temperatures down with highs in the low and mid 50s. Temperatures will hold steady near 50 tonight as the winds shift.

Sunday: Periods of rain. Becoming breezy. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.
