High pressure will keep control of the weather today, but a small disturbance will push through tonight.

Sunny skies will persist through the morning hours, but clouds ahead of that disturbance will increase for the afternoon. The sunshine may be able to penetrate the cloud cover at times, but in the end, it will be more cloudy than not.

No precipitation is expected during the daytime hours. Clouds will continue to thicken tonight and a few stray showers or flurries cannot be ruled out. Most areas will stay dry though.

Daytime winds will be from the west and northwest at around 5 mph. Top gusts on the day will be around 20 mph.

Temperatures will be warmer than the last two days and will be near the seasonal average. Afternoon highs will top out in the mid to perhaps upper 40s.

Tonight’s temperatures will drop back into the mid 30s early on, then remain steady through the overnight.
