Tranquil weather will continue across Central New York today, though a small disturbance may bring some afternoon clouds.

Skies through the morning should be mostly clear before any of those clouds start to move in. Most of what does make it to Cortland County this afternoon should be thin, allowing for some sunshine to filter through.

While a few scattered showers may be possible over Western New York, Cortland County should stay dry throughout the day and overnight.

Winds will remain from the northwest today, coming in at 5-10 mph. Top gusts will be 20-25 mph.

Temperatures should be a degree or two warmer than yesterday, mostly topping out in the mid 50s. Another quick drop into the 30s is expected this evening.
