The Homer JV Football team improved to 2-0 on the season after defeating Fowler 48-8 at home.
According to Homer Head Coach George Schneider, “The defense played an outstanding game forcing six turnovers (4 fumble recoveries and 2 interceptions). They also provided the offense with short fields making it much easier to score on their offensive possessions.”
Scorers for Homer include Hunter Riehlman (18 yard run touchdown & 6 yard run touchdown), Maddox Johnson (1 yard run touchdown & 46 yard run touchdown), Bryce Hoffmann (24 yard reception touchdown), and Tasker Dennis (9 yard reception touchdown).
Both Wyatt Wilbur and Hunter Riehlman threw one touchdown each on the air.
After each touchdown, the Homer Trojans also converted on every single 2 point attempt.
