Low pressure will pass to our southeast today, bringing some late wintry weather to the area.

Precipitation will be mixed at times this morning before turning to all snow. The snow will fall through the latter morning and into the early afternoon before tapering off.

Additional on and off snow showers will be possible during the afternoon, evening, and overnight hours.

Most areas should see just a coating to an inch or two of accumulation. Hilltops have the best chance at seeing near or slightly over two inches.

Winds will start from the north, then turn to the northwest as the low passes by. Wind speeds will be strongest in the afternoon at 10-15 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Temperatures will hold steady in the low to mid 30s from the morning into the afternoon. Nighttime temperatures will fall into the mid 20s.

Thursday: Windy with a few early snow showers and some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.

Friday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Saturday: Sun early, then clouds in the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs near 60.

Sunday: Periods of rain, especially in the morning. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.
