High pressure will take control of the weather once again for today.

Any lingering clouds early this morning will quickly dissipate as dry air builds into the region. Few, if any, clouds will be in the sky for the remainder of the day.

Despite the dominate sunshine, northwest winds will blow, keeping temperatures in check. Highs will only reach the upper 40s this afternoon.

Those winds will blow at 10-15 mph. Top gusts will reach 30-35 mph during the midday or early afternoon hours.

Some thin clouds will move in this evening and stick around into the overnight.

Temperatures will quickly drop into the low and mid 30s as those clouds move in, then hold steady through the rest of the night.
