Your Cortland County weather forecast for Tuesday, April 27, 2021:
A push of warmer air will lead to clouds and perhaps a few spits of rain today.
Not much in the way of sunshine is expected today, but that does not mean a few glimpses here and there are not possible.
Widespread, steady rain is even less likely than sunshine. Still, a few spots of drizzle will be possible this morning, followed by a few late day scattered showers.
The chances for showers will continue this evening, gradually increasing. The best chance for showers will come after midnight, though.
Winds will be from the south and southeast at around 5 mph today. Top gusts will only reach around 15 mph.
Despite the light nature to the winds and the plentiful cloud cover, temperatures will still be a good deal warmer than yesterday. Look for afternoon highs to reach the low 60s or possibly even make a run at 65 degrees.
Tonight’s temperatures will fall to around 50 and remain steady overnight.
