With a strong frontal boundary to our north, today will be one of the warmest days yet of the season.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds through the morning. Full sunshine may be possible at times, but more often than not, there will at least be some thin clouds to filter the sunshine.

There will be a chance for a few showers or even thunderstorms today. These will be most likely during the afternoon. There could be a round of showers early on, and a second round later.

What rain and storms do form will be scattered, so not everyone will see rain at all today.

There is a small chance that a stronger storm could develop late in the day. Gusty winds and hail would be the primary threats.

Winds will from the south and southwest at around 5 mph today. Tonight, the front will sink south, turning winds to a more northerly direction.

High temperatures will soar into the low and mid 70s this afternoon. Dewpoints will even climb to around 60 degrees, providing the fuel for the potential storms.

Temperatures will remain in the upper 50s through the overnight with more clouds and showers as the front slowly sinks southward.

Thursday: Scattered showers, especially early. Some late sun possible. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Friday Windy with scattered showers. Perhaps some late snow mixing in. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Saturday Morning clouds giving way to some afternoon sun. Still a bit blustery. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs around 50.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with some showers possible. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.
