Homer Varsity Girls Lacrosse vs. Jordan-Elbridge
The Homer Lady Trojans defeated Jordan-Elbridge on the road with a score of 21-3.
Homer took over the game early in the first half under difficult weather conditions. They were up 13-1 by halftime, and were dominant despite the rain.
Homer was led by Kloey Roos with 9 goals and 1 assist. Following Kloey were Katlyn Sovocool (11 assists), Hannah Slade (4 goals), Annika Roos (3 goals & 3 assists), Lauren Walling (2 goals & 1 assist), Sydney O'Donnell (2 goals), and Leeanna Peck (1 goal & 2 assists).
Homer Varsity Boys Lacrosse vs. Jordan-Elbridge
The Homer Trojans took down Jordan-Elbridge with a score of 20-1 at home. The Trojans were able to apply their dominance over Jordan Elbridge as soon as the game started. The majority of Homer’s team was able to contribute with a goal or assist.
Jared Matthews led the Trojans with 6 goals and 4 assists. Following Matthews were Reid Partis (3 goals), Logan Swartz (3 goals), Hunter Riehlman (2 goals & 6 assists), Chris Kierman (2 goals & 1 assist), Ben Morenus (2 goals), Jake Calabro (1 goal & 2 assists), Luke Pallone (1 goal & 1 assist), Andrew VanPatten (1 assist), and Sam Bieber (1 assist).
Varsity Track & Field: Marathon vs. Union Springs and Lansing
The Marathon Olympians faced off in a three-way dual meet against Union Springs and Lansing Thursday evening.
Here are some highlights of both the boy’s team and the girl’s team:
Marathon Boys
- Thomas White came in 3rd in the 1,600 meter race.
- Conor Holland came in 2nd in the 400 meter dash.

Marathon Girls
- Anna Hoyt came in 2nd in the 400 meter dash and came in 3rd in the Long Jump event.
- Megan Howard came in 1st in both the shot-put and discus events.

Varsity Track & Field: Cortland vs. Living World and ESM
The Marathon Olympians faced off in a three-way competition against Living World and ESM (East Syracuse Minoa) Thursday evening.
Here are some highlights of both the boy’s team and the girl’s team:
Cortland Boys
- John Ryan came in 1st in both the 110 meter hurdles race and the high jump event.
- Jack PheLan came in 2nd in both the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash.
- Jared Valentin finished 1st in both the 1,600 meter race and the 800 meter race.
- Joseph Cataldo came in 1st in the 3,200 meter race and finished 2nd in the 1,600 meter race.
- David Kelchner finished 2nd in the 400 meter dash.
- Duncan Harbin placed in 2nd in both the shot-put and discus events.
- Joshua Guest came in 3rd in the high jump event.

Cortland Girls
- Malana Booker came in 1st in both the 100 meter dash and the long jump event. She also came in 2nd in the high jump event.
