Low pressure will depart the region today, but temperatures will remain cool.

Clouds will stick around through the morning as the low slowly pulls away to the east. During the late morning and midday hours, the cloud should begin to break up.

The afternoon will then be a mix of sun and clouds. A stray shower during the latter afternoon will be possible, but most areas will stay dry from start to finish today.

After sunset, the showers and clouds will quickly fade away, leaving skies mostly clear. Just a few thin clouds high in the atmosphere will drift through from time to time.

As usual, northwest winds will set up behind the low and blow steadily throughout the day. Wind speeds will be between 5-10 mph with gusts around 20 mph.

The wind will ensure temperatures remain cooler than average, with highs today in the low and mid 50s. Evening temperatures will quickly fall through the 40s and will drop into the mid 30s after midnight.
