Varsity Baseball: Cortland vs. Syracuse
The Cortland Purple Tigers defeated Syracuse 6-4 to keep their unbeaten season alive. This brings Cortland to a 12-0 record.
The Tigers were led offensively by Kooper Knabe (3 runs & 2 RBIs), Caden Albright (2 runs), and Caden Congdon (1 run).
Cortland’s Jason Carr threw a total of 4 strikeouts.
Varsity Softball: Homer vs. Skaneateles
The Homer Lady Trojans lost 11-22 to Skaneateles on Tuesday.
“Skaneateles had some good hitters,” said Homer Softball Coach Cris Colasurdo. “Two of them hit 5 homers between them: Tatum Pas'cal hit 3 homers, while Lexie Cottrill had 2.”
The Trojans were led by Catherine Apker (3-4 from the plate, 3 runs & 8 RBIs). She also hit 2 triples and 1 home run. Alexis Small had 2 runs, and Isabell Read went 3-4 from the plate with 1 run and an RBI.
“The girls have worked hard these past couple of weeks and will have a little break before we face Westhill next Tuesday,” added Coach Colasurdo.
Varsity Boys Lacrosse: Homer vs. Chittenango
The Homer Trojans defeated Chittenango 16-6.
The Trojans were led by Jared Mathews (3 goals & 3 assists), Jake Calabro (4 goals & 1 assist), Hunter Riehlman (3 goals & 1 assist), Reid Partis (3 goals & 1 assist), Ben Morenus (1 goal & 2 assists), Sam Bieber (1 goal), Carter Newcomb (1 goal), Logan Goodman (1 assist).
Homer goalie Collin Perks had 3 saves.
Varsity Girls Lacrosse: Homer vs. Chittenango
The Homer Lady Trojans took down Chittenango with a score of 21-4 on Tuesday.
Homer was led by Kloey Roos (5 goals & 4 assists), Leeanna Peck (4 goals), Katlyn Sovocool (3 goals & 3 assists), Annika Roos(2 goals & 3 assists), Keira Miller (2 goals & 1 assist), Hannah Slade (2 goals), Camryn Calabro (1 goal & 4 assists), Kayla Miller (1 goal), and Aleta Gross (1 goal).
Varsity Boys Golf: Marathon vs. Dryden
The Marathon Olympians fell to a 4-6 record after losing to Dryden with a score of 191-173. (Reminder: lowest score in golf wins).
