Item #14 – Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Cortland to sign and submit a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application pursuant to the CDBG/CARES ACT to the New York State Office of Community Renewal seeking funds for multiple activities including COVID related work at City Hall and the City Parks, and for a program to assist small businesses impacted by COVID 19, to authorize the Mayor to execute a grant agreement with the funding source upon award of said grant to the City, and to undertake any other action(s) necessary to implement the grant or grant program or activities. Item #15 – Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Cortland to sign and submit an application under the New York State Main Street Program seeking funds for an “Anchor Grant” to assist in the rehabilitation of property located at 107-111 Main Street, to authorize the Mayor to execute a grant agreement with the funding source upon award of said grant to the City, and to undertake any other action(s) necessary to implement the grant or grant Program. Item #16 – Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Cortland to sign and submit an application to the New York State Department of State under the Smart Growth Comprehensive Planning Program seeking funds to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan, to authorize the Mayor to execute a grant agreement with the funding source upon award of said grant to the City, and to undertake any other action(s) necessary to implement the grant or grant Program.
