Your Cortland County weather forecast for Saturday, June 26, 2021:

Leftovers from thunderstorms across the Midwest and Great Lakes last night will clip the area this morning.

Clouds associated with this area of disturbed weather will be present this morning. While a shower cannot be ruled out, most of the rain should stay north of Cortland County.

Through the afternoon, the sun will dodge in and out of clouds. No additional rain is expected.

Winds will continue to be blustery and will be a bit stronger than even the last couple of days. Winds should be 10-15 mph from the south-southwest. A few gusts could reach as high as 35 mph.

Warm air will continue to build in on these winds with highs reaching the low and mid 80s. The more the sun shines, the higher the temperature will climb.

Dewpoints are also on the rise and will be in the 60s throughout the day. This will be a noticeable increase from the last several days.

Skies will remain mixed and winds will remain blustery tonight. Temperatures will be slow to fall as a result and will only fall below 70 degrees for a couple hours before dawn Sunday.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Small chance for a few isolated afternoon showers and storms. Morning lows near 70. Afternoon highs near or just above 90.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Isolated afternoon showers and storms. Morning lows near 70. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.

Wednesday: Scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.
