Cortland Weather Outlook: Sunday, June 27

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Sunday, June 27, 2021:

A hot and humid day is on the way as south winds and sunshine continue the warming trend.

The sunshine will be filtered at times by thin clouds high in the atmosphere. A few fair weather clouds will also try to develop this afternoon, but with limited success.

Rain is very unlikely, but a brief pop-up shower cannot be totally ruled out during the latter afternoon.

South and southwest winds will blow at 10-15 mph once again today with a few gusts reaching 30 mph.

Temperatures will top out around 90 degrees this afternoon. With dewpoints well into the 60s, the heat index will reach the mid 90s.
