Southerly winds have returned to the region today and will result in warmer air moving back in.

Much of the day will be sunny with just some occasional thin clouds passing through. A few fair weather cumulus will also bubble up during the late morning and afternoon hours.

No rain is expected from any of the clouds today.

The wind will be from the southwest with gradually increasing speeds. Morning winds will be around or under 5 mph, while afternoon winds increase to 5-10 mph. Top gusts in the afternoon will be near 20 mph.

High temperatures will jump about ten degrees compared to yesterday, topping out in the mid 80s. 

Thin clouds and steady winds this evening will keep temperatures from falling too far. Temperatures will slowly fall through the 70s this evening, but should not get far below 70 overnight.

Thursday: Scattered shower and storms possible. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Friday: Partly cloudy. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.
