Cortland County Emergency Declaration Expires

Since March 15, 2020, Cortland County has been under a State of Emergency Declaration pursuant to authority given to the Chief Executive of the County, Rob Corpora, under Section 24 of New York State Executive Law.

The State of Emergency was declared due to the threat that the COVID-19 virus posed to the health and welfare of Cortland County residents. Due to the diligence of our community in response to COVID-19, as of 4:00 PM yesterday (July 6th), the Emergency Declaration has expired and will not be renewed at this time.
