Our new pattern of dry, quiet weather will continue today as high pressure remains parked overhead.

There is an area of low pressure over the Mid-Atlantic that is spreading some thin clouds into the area this morning. These may filter the early sunshine at times before they pull off to the east.

Fair-weather clouds will develop during the latter half of the morning and persist through the afternoon. As usual, they will dissipate late in the day, leaving mostly clear skies for tonight.

Winds will be nearly calm today with high pressure overhead. Light whispers of a breeze from variable directions will be all that is felt.

Temperatures will add a couple more degrees over yesterday with highs reaching the mid and upper 70s. 

Evening temperatures will quickly fall through the 60s and settle in the mid 50s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Friday: Sun and clouds. Low chance for a stray shower. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a few afternoon showers and storms possible. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with scattered afternoon showers and storms possible. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs near 80.
