Humidity will increase further today though scattered afternoon showers and storms will put a limit on how hot it gets.

Sunshine this morning will mix with fair-weather clouds by the midday hours. During the mid to late afternoon, a few scattered showers and thunderstorms will pop up.

Since these will be scattered, some areas will see rain while others will not. 

The storms that form will have some lighting and brief heavier rain, but no severe weather or flooding is expected.

Dewpoints will climb into the mid or upper 60s to help provide fuel for these storms. Daytime highs will peak in the early to mid afternoon in the mid 80s.

Winds will be light from the south with speeds around 5 mph.

Skies will clear tonight with temperatures backing into the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Hot and humid with scattered afternoon showers and storms. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.

Thursday: Showers and storms. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
