A handful of car larcenies were reported along Route 13 in the town of Cuyler over the weekend, Cortland County Sheriff’s Office noted in a release Monday morning.
Four car larcenies were called in during the overnight hours between Aug. 28 and Aug. 29, said Chad Burhans, captain of the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing, Burhans said. The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public for any information revolving around the identification and location of potential suspects in the area, the release states.
Anyone with information related to the string of car larcenies in the town of Cuyler are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 607-753-3311.
The sheriff’s office also reminded residents of the county to make sure their homes, vehicles and other structures on their properties are locked and secured every night.
