High pressure off the Mid-Atlantic coast will bring pleasant weather and a quick warm up to the area today.

Skies will feature plenty of sunshine today with just some small afternoon fair weather clouds. No rain will fall from any of these clouds.

Southwest winds will blow steadily through the day, turning more southerly late in the afternoon. These winds will blow at close to 10 mph with gusts of 20-25 mph.

The sunshine and warming winds will combine to push high temperatures into the low or even mid 70s, which is about a ten degree jump over yesterday.

Skies will clear this evening, but some clouds will work in for the overnight hours. Temperatures will drop to around 60 degrees early on, then remain steady through the rest of the night.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Perhaps some late showers and storms. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
