The Homer police and fire departments, village and town officials and community members came together on Saturday in front of Homer’s American Legion in a ceremony to honor the lives lost on the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Former Homer fire chief Mahlon Irish was the master of ceremonies, and district attorney Patrick Perfetti delivered a speech.
