Large Group Gathers for Women’s Reproductive Rally in the City of Cortland (Photos & Videos Included)

A large group of women’s reproductive rights advocates gathered at the intersection of Main Street, Groton Avenue and Clinton Avenue in the city of Cortland on Saturday to protest the recent adoption of a draconian anti-abortion law in Texas.

Led by local women’s rights activist and historian Andrea Rankin, the demonstration joined hundreds of other rallies and protests across the county. It was organized by the national women’s rights organization Women’s March.

A handful of advocates gave speeches on reproductive rights, while the rest of the crowd held up signs of support and the fight against anti-abortion laws.
