CECSD's Capital Improvement Project Approved by Community Residents

Community residents voted 318-to-110 in favor of the Cortland Enlarged City School District’s (CECSD) $32.5 million Capital Improvement Project proposal on Wednesday.

Results from Wednesday’s voting process are preliminary, which will become official at the CECSD Board of Education meeting this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Further review and approval will go through the New York State Department of Education.

CECSD superintendent Bob Edwards said recently the project could get underway as early as next year.
